Michelle graduated from Colorado State University with a Degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education and has been working with children for about 26 years. Details you should know about me: I have been married to my husband Jesse for 24 years and we have 2 children together. I was born and raised in Colorado. I love to spend time with my family and friends. My favorite children's book is "The Polar Express." I love being the Director of this program. Amy taught elementary school for six years before returning to preschool. Amy has a Bachelors degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education, along with an Early Childhood Director Certification. What she likes most about teaching is seeing the changes and growth in each child. In her spare time she enjoys: reading, softball and being with family. Ms. Kira has been at Great Escape either as a parent, teacher and/or an Administrative Assistant for 10 years. Ms. Kira and her husband enrolled their two daughters at Great Escape because they loved the community feeling, and that community is why she has remained. Things to know about me: in my free time I enjoy gardening, camping, skiing and theatre. My favorite children's book is anything by Andrea Beaty, but I especially love Aaron Slater the illustrator. My favorite part of working with young children is sharing with them my love of children's literature. Their enthusiasm and perspective brings a whole new dimension to a book that I may have read a hundred times. […]

Things to know about me: I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. I love to design craft ideas and decorate. I love the color pink and in my spare time I enjoy cooking with my mom and playing with my dog, Indigo. My favorite children's books are the Fancy Nancy series. I enjoy teaching this particular age group because they are so curious about everything, and they love to learn. They also enjoy arts and crafts; one of my favorite activities to do with the kids. Ms. Melissa has been in childcare for over 30 years. She joined Great Escape for the 2023-2024 school year. Things to know about me: I am from Philly but have lived in Colorado for 17 years. I have one daughter who is 20 years old and in my spare time I enjoy doing puzzles, spending time with family and exploring the outside world finding new and interesting places. I have always loved working with children, knowing what an incredible impact I can have on their lives. Teaching is my passion, so I am super lucky to have a job in education. Ms. Lilly has been working at Great Escape for close to a year and has worked in childcare for 4 years. She is currently taking college courses for social work and plans to work with foster children in the future. Things to know about me: I am the biggest Avs fan ever and I rarely miss a game! My favorite children's book is "The Kissing Hand." I love teaching Junior Preschool because I see growth within my class weekly and I think they are super fun to talk to. Ms. Amy has worked at Great Escape since 2016. Before that, she was a middle school English teacher. Things to know about me: I live in Morrison with my husband and 3 daughters. Jamie graduated from Colorado Christian University with a degree in Outdoor Leadership and is preparing to begin her masters. Things to know about me: I am a martial artist and have been for 11 years and I am an avid rock climber. I was raised in PA and CO but most of my family is originally from Australia. Ms. Sarah, or as the children call her, Rah-Rah has 26 years of experience working with children. Things to know about me: My husband Heath and I have been married for 24 years and we have 3 grown son's and 3 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with my family, plants, playing games and going for walks. I've been at Great Escape for a total of 8 years. My favorite children's book series is The "Llama Llama" series.
